Perfect

Nice and simple packaging. But what a beautiful product. Light, sturdy, strong. When mounting it, I already notice that the socket screws are on the inside, neatly provided with some grease. This benefits the appearance, as you can't see them from the front. However, tightening them is a bit more difficult. Once attached, the result is worth it. Nice colour and a cool design. Icm the pro vibe aero handlebar compact, the picture is complete. Stiff, light and strong. When I take my first ride, I notice that the material is all lighter, making it steer and feel a bit lighter. This is already a win for me, in terms of time it won't make much difference to me personally. However, I do enjoy having nice and good material on my bike. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Pros & Cons

Very satisfied with the PRO Vibe stem. In terms of performance, it feels strong and stiff when riding, while being considerably lighter than many other stems on the market. Appearance really appeals to me with the black-on-black logos and combination of matt and gloss black. The bolts on the back make for a nice look. Only disadvantage of these is that they are trickier to mount. For example, you can't turn the Allen key all the way around. So that costs you a few extra seconds. The drop shape of the stem fits well with an aero road bike, so it's nice that a top cap with black bolt is included. You do need to cut the fork tube flush at just the right height to fit it neatly. I found the amount of packaging material unnecessary.

A very cool design. Full carbon so super lightweight. Even the bolts are made of titanium to save weight. Very stiff and so the steering is nice and responsive. In addition, the stem is already prepared for internal cable routing. Because the mounting bolts are on the back, the front is very sturdy. Which also brings with it another disadvantage. Because there is little space at the bolts, it makes using a torque spanner very difficult. But that outweighs all the advantages.

I use this stem in combination with the PRO Vibe Aero Handlebar Compact. It is easy to assemble and it is nice that there is already a little bit of loctide on it. It's light en nice design.

Ik heb deze Pro vibe stem nu 2 weken in gebruik. De installatie was heel makkelijk door middel van een inbus sleutel. De boutjes zijn konisch afgewerkt zodat deze altijd goed aansluiten op het materiaal wat bevestigd moet worden. Er zat op de boutjes waar je het stuur in monteert al een likje kopervet waardoor je gelijk al denkt, daar hebben ze over nagedacht en dus dat zelf niet meer hoeft te doen. Het design is echt geweldig, wat een mooi ding om iedere keer weer op jou eigen fiets te mogen zien, dat zilver met galnszwart en matzwart tekst en design is echt mooi. Ik heb mijn oude en nieuwe stem niet gewogen maar je voelt merkbaar dat deze Pro Vibe stem echt een stukje lichter is. Ik heb ook 10 mm langere afstand genomen waardoor ik een diepere zitpositie krijg ook vanwege mijn lengte (1.97cm). De stijfheid van de Pro Vibe stem is zeker een voordeel want alles wat mee beweegt kost meer energie!

Ik heb deze stuurpen gebruikt in combinatie met het PRO Vibe Aero stuur. De pen voelt stijf waardoor je optimale controle ervaart over de fiets. Het gewicht is licht. Extra aantrekkelijk is de wijze waarop Di2 kabels weg te werken zijn. Het design is erg mooi.

Sinds een week of 2 heb ik inmiddels deze mooie Pro Vibe stem in gebruik op mijn mountainbike. Ik heb de 100mm. Dat is eigenlijk net wat te lang voor in het bos. Bij een wat "agressieve" houding zou een kortere beter passen. Buiten de persoonlijke voorkeur, is de stem erg gemakkelijk qua installeren (zoals de meeste). Maar ik merkte we een heel groot verschil in gewicht tussen de stem die er bij mij standaard op zat, en deze. Deze is zo licht als een veertje. 2 weken geleden mee geweest naar de routes in Nijmegen met o.a. het trauma trail en afgelopen week naar de routes in Netersel en het Nuenen (dak van Brabant) en ik ben erg tevreden. Niks op aan te merken. Design is verder ook strak. Schroeven mooi aan de achterkant ipv voorkant met mogelijkheid tot wegwerken van kabels. Perfect.

Pros & Cons

Mooi vorm gegeven Pro Vibe Stem van maar 152 gram. Het is een fraai design met mooi afgewerkt bevestigingsmoeren, die van titanium zijn, helemaal mooi is dat deze voorzien zijn van loctide. De kwaliteit is erg goed en de afwerking is super. Met mooie voorzieningen om de kabels van je Di2 door heen te verwerken. De installatie gaat heel erg makkelijk, let wel op dar de schroeven iets scheef lijken gemonteerd te moeten worden, dat klopt. Mijn verwachtingen zijn overtroffen door deze hele mooie stem en ik zou hem zeker aanbevelen.
