Perfect

- Alejandro Carmona, 14 October, 2022

It was impossible to fit the cover on an orbea alma frame without this tool, I had tried all possible ways but it was only with this kit that I succeeded, because the cover exit hole is very small and you have to use a lot of force, thanks to the high quality connector was possible. I'd like the packaging to be a little more organized, but that's just an aesthetic detail.

Useful tool

- Ron, 21 February, 2021

I needed the tool mainly for routing DI2 cables through the handlebars, without which I could not have done it. Sure it can be done through the frame with other tools, but with the IR-1.2 from Parktool it is very easy and quick without leaving any nerves. Yes, it is quite expensive. However, as I am a hobby mechanic and have already built up several bikes, I found the investment to be sensible.

Pros & Cons

Good quality
Versatile due to various adapters

Necessary attribute for the in-house cable tinkerer

- Marcel, 22 September, 2020

Without this tool, I would not have managed to pull a new internal cable for my fully's dropper post through the frame. In particular, the sharp bend at the bottom bracket is impossible to pass with a loose cable but with this tool it's still just short of a piece of cake. Must have.

Pros & Cons

Solid design
Rather pricey

Fantastic tool

- Bill, 4 May, 2017

I initially tried the vacuum cleaner and cotton thread method for routing my cables, but after wasting 45mins I realised it wasn't going to work with my frame. So I ordered this tool and although expensive, it is excellent at doing the job and worth every penny. Having several options for attacking the job really helps. I think I used all of them on my frame.

Pros & Cons

Does the job really well
Simple to use
Expensive
