Northwave SLW2 System Kit 2017

Anything attached to MTB shoes or boots is going to go wrong sooner or later - particularly if it involves a thin cord, like the SLW2 fastener. This kit will let you fix it - if you wait until after the cord or the adjuster has broken, you'll be cycling in your socks (or not riding) until the replacement arrives. I can't wait that long. The freight to the UK cost practically as much as the kit itself, but the overall cost was still less than buying from a UK retailer.

One of the few places where I could find this part, so very pleased to have found Mantel, and the kit arrived quickly.

I hadn’t realised that that the ratchet knob has fallen off during/after my previous ride. Thought that was the end for my shoes. Thank goodness for this replacement kit. All the main components that could break and could be replaced are in this kit. Excellent value for money and extended the life of my shoes. Slightly disappointed that it was packed in a shoe box and not a Jiffy bag which would have fitted through the letterbox.
