MET Manta

I'm really happy with the Manta, very comfortable especially if you fit the provided gel insert. It's very soft and prevents sweat dripping on your forehead. It's very silent and I believe the aero claims. Great at speed and on windy days. Very good value for money, good airflow as well.

Always gone with Giro helmets in the past but seriously impressed with this Met helmet. It is an attractive helmet and avoids the ugly look of most of the aero helmets. It's the lightest helmet I have ever had and the straps and pads are very comfortable, adjusting it is rapid - a very well thought out design. Been out about 6 times in it now and varying from hailstones to baking heat (scottish highlands -same day! ;) and it performs well in both scenarios. Factor in the price from Mantel and I feel this helmet was a great purchase - highly recommended to anyone moving to an aero helmet that worries about the drawbacks of aero helmets.

Hopefully will never test the durability but it's my favourite helmet I have purchased so far at a reasonable price compared to others of similar aerodynamic design.

Though yet to give the helmet it's full workout on the Summer bike I've trialed it on the winter hack and quite honestly is the most comfortable helmet I've worn to date. It actually feels so comfortable and light you can't actually feel it's on your head. It's adjustable and comes with 2x forehead sponges gel and cloth to help soak up sweat and perspiration. It's not too bulky and looks a stylish helmet which I can't wait to see if it saves me crucial seconds on Kim's come spring time

This is a lovely looking piece of kit. It is lightweight. The venting is great. It keeps your head cool. I love the look of of it. I have a slightly large head. I really appreciate that this helmet when worn does make my head look massive (like every other helmet I’ve owned), and it’s very confable to wear. I’ve also noticed that the noise generated but the air when on the move around my ears is a lot less, making and adding to the experience of a ride.

Great fitting helmet although there is not much room for the ends of the arms of my DHB glasses. The rear toggle adjuster can undue easily.

I bought the Met Manta purely as I read good reviews on the fit, cooling and liked the weight and style. I have to say I wasn’t disappointed when I put it on and tried it for the first time. And now, I can also add that the helmet is amazingly good at its true intended purpose. After a 20mph, head first crash, this helmet literally saved me from more serious head injury. I don’t feel I have to say any more than that. Well done Met! I’ll certainly buy another!

Really pleased with this helmet. It's really light, surprisingly comfortable and haven't felt my head over heating. As for its aero benefits, who knows, but I feel faster!!!

Only had the helmet 2 days when I was involved in a major bump with a lorry. Helmet did what it was supposed to - will be replacing with the same!

The helmet arrived in three days. It's so light that even the post man said "it's funny how the box is so big but it feels like there's nothing in it". The gel pad in the helmet is very comfortable - it's also helps to keep you cool.

This helmet feels superb. It's as light as claimed, don't really notice the difference between this and my S-Works Prevail. The included gel forehead pad feels great, and nicer than traditional pads which hold sweat. I havn't used it in above 20c temperature yet, but it hasn't felt hot yet. Love it! Well done MET
