My first navigation system on the bike. Only briefly in use, but I like it very much. Lots of possibilities, user-friendly and easy to read. Very satisfied for the time being.

Wonderful device. Learned to ride better on heart rate and cadence as a result. Easy to ride routes. Especially when you start cycling you can really make strides.

Beautiful device, with lots of functionalities. I have not been able to try everything out yet, but I will in the coming weeks. Useful for me: simple connection with Strava and the fluid balance (the minimum amount I need to drink after training to rehydrate sufficiently). Also nice: the sensors are already linked to it and everything is very easy to install.

Had my cycling buddies inform me well in advance and everything is correct .....What a bike computer is the Garmin say. Very compact, easy to operate, nice clear screen and the heart rate/cadence/speed meter link flawlessly. Combined with your Garmin app on your phone the party is complete.

Frankly, for those hundreds of euros, I really expected a better product. Especially the UI leaves a lot to be desired, also a manual could have saved a lot of frustration; I almost threw the product in the ditch several times. The biggest problem is that I plan a nice ride, encounter roadblocks along the way; take a wrong turn because I don't find the graphical interface clear; or simply go for a slightly larger round trip. Along the way, I have to adjust the route and thus end my ride. If I want to return home halfway through, I would have expected a simple "go home. But that doesn't work. I can navigate home if I set that uncomfortably, but that is not a scenic bike route, but the shortest route along the main road and I don't want that. At the end of the day I have all the individual segments in strava, but not the day's statistics. :( I really had to spend hours trying, searching and watching youtube videos to understand the interface a bit. You can download IQ connect apps but nowhere is it described where you can activate those apps on your device; which is also in different places. In retrospect, I would have chosen the challenger Bryton because it would have saved 100€ anyway and I assume they have their act together better because this 450€ really almost ended up in the ditch.

I am very satisfied with the Edge 830, I got this device to replace my Edge 520. What a difference when you compare these 2. The 830 is super fast, easier to operate and touchscreen completes it.

Great first experience with this fast and compact bike computer. Works fast to install, cadence and speed sensor are easy to attach. Routes are easy to read and data is quickly transferred to apps.

The Edge 830 lives up to expectations, lots of possibilities. Take some time to set it up to your liking, the book by Joost Verbeek "GPS wiser for the recreational and sportive cyclist" helped me a lot. Also the touchscreen works fine even in rainy weather. All in all very satisfied.

Great device. There is a lot on it, so it takes some learning and getting used to. But now that I have it figured out and have adjusted the parameters on the screen to my liking, I like it.

Pleasant navigation. pairing with phone and devices did not work at once. Some puzzling required to use all functionalities properly.

The navigation is very clean and accurate with the routes and maps. The other features are also nice to use on it. The combination with Garmin Connect provides very good insight into performance. I don't want to be without it anymore. Together with the additional sensors it is a super package.
