Good product. Just (not) enough in bottle

- Benni, 13 September, 2022

First tire worked out perfectly, hold pressure well. The sidewalls of my 2nd tire are still leaking air because there is not enough sealant in them. This was because I put a little more than half in my first tire.... +/- 40ml instead of 30. Because of this not enough for 2nd. So measuring well is the message. (Or buy 2 bottles...)

Pros & Cons

Easy, sippy just fits into valve.
Works perfectly, side of tires seal well.
60ml is just enough for 2 tires

House trick: hand drill to free the valve.

- Marc, 29 March, 2022

Sealant dries out over time. It took me a while to figure out how to refill a tyre with this sealant because continuously the valve got clogged while refilling. Now; Just spray directly from the bottle, spout full on valve (slightly below horizontal, and without core) into the tyre. What helps is to flatten the tyre a bit first before putting the bottle on the valve, so that the liquid from the bottle is sucked into the tyre when you let the tyre spring out again and push the bottle in. And, trick of the house, a thin hand drill(!) to clear any clogged valve again (also before inflating). It looks like at first with a drill bit grunting into your valve, but you get used to it. Meanwhile, the hand drill (10gr?) is in my saddle bag with the valve spanner, and as failsave a Dynaplug Carbon Ultralite set, and for the really long rides also spare bb. But so far icm GP5000TL not yet needed. Filled up 1st time with 60ml per tyre. Now the 2nd time refilled with 100ml per tyre (that extra weight doesn't matter). Then a 240ml bottle is fine, since I always mess anyway. Hence I now just do the job in the bathtub so I can polish right away.

Pros & Cons

240ml is fine for 2 racing tyres.
>4000km still without problems
also to fill nate
refilling is a bit of a puzzle

Does what it needs to do but could be better.

- Wouter, 22 March, 2021

A 60ml bottle is just right for Tubelessing one tyre. Unfortunately, it is possible to get the contents into the tyre without squeezing. When squeezing hard, it comes through the screw cap instead of the special spout.

Pros & Cons

Correct dosage
Leaks
