As many have already mentioned, the tyre is difficult to mount, but ! With the right technique, it can be mounted without any tools, unlike other tyres. I ride it with a tube, so I can't say anything about tubeless...

Good tire for cross, but puncture on the road not fixable by yourself, tire is very tight around it

Very good grip in mud, they give very again confidence when you ride out mud puddles. Grifos slip quickly then, but these tyres give you a lot of control. Amazingly fast on asphalt because of the central studs, but they don't feel confident on paved roads, especially in corners. Open Grifos feel much safer in most conditions. So on a set of spare rims for those rides when you really need them. Initial fitting is really a drama with Challenge, they live up to their name. But after breaking them in, they are often easy to change.

This tyre is ideal if you prefer not to race tubes on mud. Perfect cornering and speed on the flat are assets !

Tyres performed great in the first CX of the year. To get them on I heated then to 60c for ten minutes in the oven first which made them go over the rim easier. Also fitted them with a butyl tube first and left them inflated for 24 hours. Fitting a talc'd latex tube after that was easy.

Very good tyre, definitely recommended. The tyre has very good grip in the mud but also little rolling resistance on asphalt, the yellow edges are also very nice, but do clean them immediately after use otherwise they will stain

Ideaal voor modder. Nat gras. Boswegeltjes. Enkel de montage is geen sinecure. Veel geduld en stevige vingers vereist!

Perfect for wet conditions with good performance. The cotton sidewall makes it easy to lower the pressure. No punctures except by pinching when going too low.

Great grip, run fast. tricky to fit 1st time but worth it.

Great grippy tyres, fast on the flat and hold the corners with ease. Another great pair of tyres to add to my Challenge collection.

Bought this to improve grip round corners. Certainly improved confidence with muddy corners at speed. Grips well. Can run at low pressures with no punctures so far.

Excellent tyre which combined with latex tubes is as close to tubs as you will get, I found them very easy to fit and the ride is so supple compared to the schwalbe cx pro that I was using. Highly recommended
