Pretty sturdy bike basket that holds plenty of groceries! Because it is a natural product, the corners do not run quite square but that is only noticeable when looked at very thoroughly. Happy with it!

Basket looks cool on the transport bike. Unfortunately, it comes with mounting material. So you have to cobble something together yourself. This is not the most complicated thing, but take your time. A lot fits in the basket (L). The handles are made of some kind of plastic. This makes them flexible so the lid moves in all directions. The connection does not come across as very solid, so I am curious to see how it will be in a while. I am also curious to see what the basket looks like after a year/another year and a half after lots of rain and sunshine. My experience with bamboo and cane is that it cracks after a while.

After we had a question to Mantel over the phone about attaching the basket (which turned out to be possible simply with tyraps), I had the basket the next day. It is a solid basket that completes the transport bike. Very happy with it!

I deliberately chose the large basket and will certainly not regret it. You just have to get used to the "handling" a little. When you open the basket, the lid gets in the way from time to time, just a matter of habit, I think. And with a fully packed basket you need a stable bike stand...

I had initially ordered the largest size, but that's really big. I think you lose your balance quickly when steering then. The basket size M is perfect. Nice and ideal size. Mantel's service is also top. Next-day delivery, free returns and we got the money back very quickly too!

Beautiful and sturdy basket, but the lock keeps jumping open. As soon as there is an unevenness in the road the lid is open anyway. Very unfortunate.

This is our second one . The first one lasted 5 years without a covered rack. Therefore no doubt and again a Basil , this time the L . This way we can add an extra jacket or jumper . Delivery Mantel as promised , ordered today , tomorrow in house and on the bike . Good for another 5 years

The basket is beautiful and fits perfectly on my front carrier. I especially love the fact that it matches the colours of my bike and the closure looks really classy. I couldn't decide between M and L, now I have both. I think a size in between would have been perfect.
