Abus StormChaser

Very satisfied with my ABUS helmet, the price really wasn't too bad, the quality is astonishing!

After years of cycling with a Kask helmet, I decided to switch to an Abus. No regrets whatsoever. I hesitated for a long time between a Stormchaser and a Gamechanger. In the end, partly thanks to the professional advice of the Mantel employee, I opted for the Stormchaser. Slightly more ventilation than the closed gamechanger. The helmet has a slim design. This in contrast tof many other helmets. The quality is palpable. Good adjustable straps finish m off. The fit is very comfortable and well adjustable.

Fits well. It does have a lot of holes, so a bit chilly in cold winds. Other than that, I like it and it is very light. You can easily put cycling glasses in it.

Notice much less than with my old helmet that I have it on. Straps are fairly thin and therefore flexible and not irritatingly stiff.

Helmet fits well, and looks nice. I crashed once while cycling with this helmet. The helmet absorbed the impact well. I immediately replaced it with a similar helmet.

By now cycled about 300km with it. Helmet as expected, good value for money. Couldn't find any downsides yet.

Meets expectations completely, good quality and everything is correct except for the internal pads that are not well fixed to the helmet.

Nicely designed helmet that is very comfortable after pushing away hard inner edges on top of the head. I find the excessive logos distracting. With a bit of patience, they are removable.

I don't own any other mid-range helmets, but I don't think that's what makes the difference. The perceived quality is low and I will most likely not buy an Abus helmet again.

The inner lining is only attached at a few points and then takes on a life of its own, solved by securing it with double-sided tape.

Very pleased with the helmet, fits well and feels robust despite being light weight. Straps well placed and easily adjusted.

This helmet fits right away. Design is modern and sleek. the straps fall nicely flat over face and this doesn't bother you at all.

I have an "awkward" head for helmets. Because of my long and narrow face, few helmets suit me but I find this one fits well. Yes normally I put the glasses over the straps :)
