You can choose between 3 options: traditional rim brakes, direct mount rim brakes, or no brakes.
The rear derailleur shifts quickly and smoothly, and reduces chain clatter due to the high cage tension.

Cons
The weight of this groupset is higher than that of Record or Super Record.
The front derailleur shifts less smoothly when the ratio between the front chainrings is different than 13 teeth.
Parts are made of aluminium and the Ultegra tool kit is therefore slightly heavier than the Dura-Ace version.
Cheaper materials make this groupset heavier than the Red AXS groupset.
You need a special XDR body on your wheel to mount this cassette.
