Costs a little but you got something
Had one from the hardware store at first. This one immediately turned the thread mad when applying a little force. This one had no trouble with it. Had to use a plastic hammer on the first blow. You can also convert the caps at the end.

In a word: perfect!
Before this I used a crank puller from AliExpress, but really nothing but misery. Turned stiffly and sometimes pulled the thread half out. On the same crank with the Park Tool crankpuller no problem. Costs a bit more, but then you have something!

Top and solid
Works easily and feels solid! Had a habibabi model first. Wire turned broken with this. This one holds strong and got a firmly stuck crank loose with little effort

Good value for money
Where the previous crank puller fell short, this parktool came to the rescue to smoothly pop out a miserably stuck old pedal arm!

You don't need any strength if you use some good leverage. Very sturdy tool.
