Description
Mavic Comete road bike wheels are designed with only one starting point; aerodynamics. The Mavic Comete Pro Carbon UST has a very aerodynamic shape and therefore has low rolling resistance. Comet also comes into its own on flat roads. The wheels have a 65 mm U-shaped edge. Thanks to the U-shape, the wind has less control so that you can maintain your speed easier. At Mavic, they call this the NACA profile, which comes from the shape of a wing. The flat straight aero spokes contribute to the aerodynamic nature of the wheel kit. The rim is constructed with 3K carbon fiber. The brake edge is extra reinforced with iTgMAX technology. This guarantees constant and efficient braking performance in all conditions. This makes the Mavic rim the most reliable carbon fiber rim when it comes to heavy loads under the worst conditions.
With an inner rim width of 19 mm you will experience more comfort, grip and speed in combination with 25 mm or 28 mm Mavic Yksion Pro II UST tyres. Thanks to the UST tubeless technology, Mavic Comete Pro Carbon UST road bike wheels have a lower risk of punctures, lower rolling resistance and improved road characteristics.
Mavic Comete Pro Carbon UST road bike wheels can also be made tubeless thanks to the UST technology. This has many advantages such as reduced rolling resistance, more riding comfort and improved grip. The most important advantage of tubeless riding is that you can keep cycling when you have a puncture. The liquid latex fills the hole in the tyre within a few seconds.
Mavic Care
With Mavic Care you can extend the warranty to 3 years by registering your purchased wheelset within 30 days on the Mavic website. You also activate the possibility of crash replacement, which means you can get a 40% discount on a comparable product. You are eligible for this if your wheel can no longer be repaired after a fall or collision.

Via the MyMavic app (available in the App Store and via Google Play) you can get advice about the correct tyre width and pressure, adjusted to your rim width and the surface of your choice.
