The Kask Protone is the ''do it all'' road bike helmet by KASK. It offers the optimal combination of aerodynamics and ventilation. The input of former top team Team Sky (now Team Ineos) and many months of data research have contributed to the development of this race bike helmet.
With a weight of just 228 grams this helmet is a lightweight, so much so that you barely notice you're wearing it. The various ventilation openings ensure that heat and moisture are quickly dissipated. This results in optimal comfort and improved performances, without compromising on safety.
The internal plastic substructure improves protection against impacts
The upper part of this road bike helmet is reinforced with an internal plastic substructure, so your head is better protected during possible impacts.That bit of extra safety, supplied by for example a MIPS, is lacking in this helmet as Kask does not use the system.
The Octofit adjustment system and the divider ear straps ensure a perfect fit
Thanks to its Octofit adjustment system and divider ear straps you can adjust your Protone easily, quickly, and precisely for a perfect fit that never shifts. A simple turn on the Octofit adjustment system is enough to tighten or loosen the helmet on your head.
The comfortable eco-leather chin strap prevents irritation on the skin
Its eco-leather chin strap is very comfortable and prevents irritation to the skin. This strap is washable just like the helmet pads and therefore easy to keep clean. This also benefits the durability of this road bike helmet, as it will last longer.
In Moulding
This technique connects the inner polystyrene layer to the outer polycarbonate one, together offering more shock absorption.
MIT
The MIT technology ensures your head is optimally protected. The polycarbonate layer covers the entire helmet: base, lower ring, and rear.
Aero Control
This helmet is fitted with a wind-tunnel tested aerodynamic shell. Whichever way you’re looking, the air exhaust will always be able to do its work.
HiViz.
This refers to the reflective stickers that make you more visible in the dark.
