Pros & Cons

Going from my original standard wheels, these have been an absolute bonus to me. Obviously quite light in weight, they have a lovely finish of them to make you feel proud. 40mm deep rims seem to soak up the bumps/ruts in the road nicely. I was a little dubious purchasing these as I'm a heavy lad-97.4kg but after doing about 500 miles, since purchase, they have stood up to some pretty bad hits (poor tarmac-not seen !). Keep your tyre pressures as recommended-I'm running 100 for my weight, and you shouldn't get any 'rim hits'. Clearly a good purchase for my road bashing. They look great, and ride great-seem to cut through the air better. Only one slight downside (as with any 40mm+ wheel rims really) crosswinds, can be a bit unnerving, especially already being on a carbon lightweight bike. Other than that. Do yourself a favour, get yourself a set-you wont regret buying these. Oh and by the way, great price as well!

Pros & Cons

Like most of the Fulcrum carbon range, these wheels are well constructed, with a quality finish and roll true from the box. With an intermediate rim height, there's no real issues in blustery conditions and they seem to cope with all riding terrains with no issues to date. Unlike earlier models, which took after the Campag range, the freewheel sound is pleasingly subtle. Absolutely no issues with delivery or service, arriving within 3 working days and about £150 cheaper than cheapest UK price when purchased.
