Pros & Cons
- These hard-wearing brake pads withstand poor weather conditions and mud well.
- These brake pads lose less braking power when they get hot due to a lot of braking on long descents.
- The brake pads are less controllable than softer pads and can make more noise.

Description
Description
These Elvedes SRAM Level / Level TL / Avid DB1 DB3 brake pads are sintered brake pads developed for SRAM mountain bike and cyclocross brakes. The sintered brake pads are made up of resin mixed with metal particles. This compound is therefore very hard and wear-resistant, making it very resistant to the high temperatures that can occur during long descents. The downside is that sintered brake pads do not engage as quickly as organic or semi-metallic pads and produce more noise during braking.
In short, these wear-resistant brake pads are very suitable if you ride in very muddy conditions and need to brake a lot. These conditions often present themselves in late autumn and winter. Also when you are going to ride your mountain bike down long descents in mountainous areas, these sintered brake pads are highly recommended.
SRAM B:
AVID Elixer, DB1, DB3, DB5, XX / SRAM Level T, TL
SRAM E:
Road: SRAM Force AXS / SRAM Red AXS 2020
MTB: SRAM Level Ultimate 2020 / SRAM Level TLM B1 2020

User tips
It is of vital importance that you break in your new brake pads after fitting them. If properly broken in, the brake pads will last longer, brake better and squeal less.Reviews

Excellent product and delivered quickly.

Brake pads were in need of replacement. They had become iron on iron. Ordered these, took out 1 screw and pushed back the brake piston and put in new ones + screw of course.
