The BORN Super Liquid Gel is a powerful energy gel for the second phase of your exercise. The Super Liquid Gels are rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream. Unlike sports bars, Liquid Gels are easy to consume and digest during high-intensity efforts. This makes the Super Liquid Gels ideal for consumption at a high heart rate or in the final stages of a competition or workout.

Due to their liquid composition, Born Super Liquid Gels are easy on the stomach. They can be taken without water. The mix of fast and slow carbohydrates creates a long-lasting, gradual energy supply. With Born Super Liquid Gels you can prevent hitting the proverbial wall and raise the performance bar even further.

The gels in the flavours Cappuccino, Cherry and Mint/Lime contain caffeine (29.7 mg per gel).

Technology

Recommended use: The depletion of the carbohydrate supply during exercise is one of the main causes of fatigue. Carbohydrate replenishment before and during exercise can improve (cycling) performance. If the effort lasts longer than 90 minutes, it is recommended to consume extra carbohydrates. A commonly used strategy is to consume energy gels during the more intensive phases of exercise. The digestion process of energy gels requires less blood flow compared to other sports nutrition products.

Recommended dosage: The 2:1 glucose/fructose ratio (Cappuccino/Cherry) increases carbohydrate intake to 90 grams per hour (normal intake is 60 grams). Consume 1-3 Super Liquid Gels per hour during active efforts. Consume no more than 15 Super Liquid Gels per day.

Warning: Contains caffeine (75 to 150 mg per gel). Not recommended for children and pregnant women. This nutritional supplement is not suited for anyone younger than 18.
