The new WaveCel technology is the reason that the Bontrager XXX WaveCel performs so well when it comes to safety. WaveCel is based on a crumpling cellular structure that serves as the basis for the helmet. This new safety technology works like a crumple zone that absorbs the impact of a fall or crash even better. As a result, the chance of a concussion is 48 times smaller compared to a standard EPS helmet.
In addition to great safety, this cycling helmet has even more positive features. The Boa dial allows you to adjust the helmet with only one hand. User-friendly and adjustable strap dividers enable you to adjust the fit very precisely. The anti-bacterial padding on the inside of the helmet drain perspiration and remove the smell of sweat organically. An extra NoSweat pad keeps the sweat out of your eyes and ensures you’ll see properly at all times.

There is a feeling that every bit of the helmet is touching every bit of my head which helps inspire confidence that the crash performance will match the manufacturer’s claims. I can’t get my glasses to sit anywhere on it but this is just nitpicking, I’m really pleased with my purchase as well as the price and service from Mantel.
