The Bontrager Aeolus Pro 5 TLR Disc road bike wheels have a perfect balance between durability, weight and aerodynamics. The wheels are praised for their versatility in various tests. The 50 mm high OCLV carbon tubeless ready rim has a rim width of 19.5 mm, which is suitable for tubeless TLR tires. The Aeolus Pro 5 wheels are constructed with DT Swiss Aerolite spokes and Alpina spoke nipples; quality guaranteed.

Tubeless Ready
The Bontrager (TLR) rims allow a quick conversion to tubeless systems thanks to the pre-assembled tubeless ready tape. This way you can easily switch between the familiar clincher or tubeless setup. After mounting Tubeless Ready tyres you only need to place the tubeless ready valves and add the liquid latex.

Aerodynamics
The D3 Dual Directional Design rim profile reduces air resistance around the tyre and rim. The tyres completely round off the rim's D-profile, minimising the amount of air trapped around the rim. This provides greater stability in windy conditions. This allows Bontrager to compete with the Zipp's and ENVE's of this world in the wind tunnel and on the road.

OCLV Pro carbon offers the optimal mix of weight, strength and durability. These wheels have passed thorough testing and checks to ensure they are resistant to competition and everyday use. The Bontrager Aeolus Pro 5 TLR Disc makes effective use of Bontrager's carbon manufacturing expertise.

Carbon Care Wheel Loyalty Program
Each set of Bontrager carbon wheels is covered by the Carbon Care wheel program. In the unlikely event that your Bontrager carbon wheels are damaged in a crash within two years of purchase, Trek will repair or replace them depending on the circumstances.

Bontrager knows like no other that buying a new carbon wheelset or a new bike with carbon wheels is no small investment. That’s why Trek/Bontrager set up the Carbon Care Wheel Loyalty programme. This shows Bontrager’s complete and utter confidence in its products and their quality.

When do I qualify for the Carbon Care Wheel Loyalty programme?
You’ll automatically qualify for this programme after becoming the first owner of a Bontrager full carbon wheel and when you bought this after November 1, 2018 in our webshop or one of our brick-and-mortar stores. This also holds true for Bontrager full carbon wheels, which some Trek bicycles come with.
Note:This programme doesn’t include aluminium wheels with carbon rim construction, such as the Aura and the Aeolus Comp.

What does the Carbon Care Wheel Loyalty programme entail?
If your wheel gets damaged within 2 year after purchase, we’ll look at replacement or repair free of charge (excluding possible shipping costs). This can be damage as a result of crashing, but also by accidentally hitting the sidewalk.

How to submit my Bontrager full carbon wheel for repair or replacement?
You can rely on our stores or our webshop if you have a damaged wheel. As soon as we receive the wheel, we’ll ship it to Trek. Subsequently, Trek will decide what option to go with, depending on the type of wheel and the severity of the damage:
• Repairing the damaged rim (including spokes, decals, nipples where needed) and manufacturer’s rebuilding of the original hubs.
• A complete wheel replacement.
