Description
The Garmin Varia RTL511 radar sees what you don't see. The new Varia RTL511 features a slimmer design, an improved battery life of 10 hours and safety features. While cycling, you're busy with the things that happen in front of you. That is why the Varia let you know when oncoming vehicles are approaching to a distance up to 140 metres. In addition, you are perfectly visible to the approaching traffic, both during the day and in the evening. The rear light has a range of 220 degrees.
The warnings are easy to read from a connected radar screen or a compatible Garmin device. In this way, the Varia can indicate the extent to which the approaching traffic forms a danger. Green light means: nothing going on. Orange light: A vehicle is approaching. Red light: A vehicle is approaching at high speed, ride carefully! In addition to the visual warnings, it is also possible to receive an audio notification.
