The special "cold-running" compound ensures the temperature of the Vittoria Zaffiro Pro stays low. This trainer tyre prevents the tread from coming off your tyre, which easily happens when regular tyres are used on a turbo trainer. The tread disintegrates when you apply a large amount of pressure and the trainer slips and burns small pieces off the tyre. The special Zaffiro Pro Hometrainer tyre is not suited for normal road use. Racing red for those people who can't stay off their pedals, even when all hell breaks loose outside.
