Description

Description

Ranging from 10- to 42-tooth, the Sram XG-1195 X01 11-speed X-DOME offers an incredibly wide gear range while maintaining optimised steps. The single-unit cassette combines with the XD Body for a superior connection to the wheel.

Technology

X Dome
The X-Dome technique creates an extremely lightweight, precise and strong cassette. The open design provides excellent mud evacuation for cleaner shifts and longer life for your bicycle components.

XD Driver Body
The XD driver body is designed to mount a cassette with an 11 tooth sprocket and provides a better interface with the cassette.

• More solid hub connection
• Optimised gear steps across the entire range
• Only suitable for wheels with XD Body
• Teeth: 10-12-14-16-18-21-24-28-32-36-42
• Weight: 275 grams
• XD-body not delivered

Assembly

SRAM XD(R) body
This cassette only fits an XD(R) body. With this type of body, the cassette consists of one piece. You slide this over the body and then you can tighten the lockring. When mounting an MTB XD cassette on an XDR body, a 1.85mm ring must be placed in between. Here you will find more tips on mounting this type of cassette.

Don't forget the assembly grease!
The lockring of your cassette can be well tightened, in some cases up to 40 Nm. To make removing the lockring in the future easier, we recommend lubricating it with a bit of assembly grease. You can find our selection of assembly greases here.

User tips

How often should I wash my bike? Regular washing will keep your bike in good nick. It ensures that the parts on your bike last longer so that you can enjoy cycling happiness for longer. How often you should wash your bike is largely dependent on what sort of weather conditions you ride in. Are you always out there, come rain or shine? Or are you strictly a fair-weather cyclist? It all has an influence on the degree of wear on bike parts, and some of us have to wash our bikes more regularly than others. Refer to the plan below as a general guideline:

October to March:
• Wash every 200 km
• Rinse after every ride
• Dry and lube the chain after every ride
• Let the bike dry at room temperature

April to September:
• Wash every 300 km
• Rinse after a ride in the rain
• Dry and lube the chain after rinsing or washing
• Let the bike dry at room temperature
