With the introduction of the new Sram Red eTAP groupset, the mechanical components have also been given a new look. The same great performance you've come to know, but in a new jacket.
The Sram RED 22 hydraulic brake/shifter combination provides you with pro-level gear shifts, unrivalled ergonomics, and the stopping power that comes with hydraulic disc brakes. The hydraulic brake requires less input force at the lever than a traditional cable-operated set-up, and promises increased brake performance in any conditions.
• PLEASE NOTE: These are single shifters, not a set!
• New RED 22 shifter design and ergonomics
• Adjustable shifter reach
• Fully closed hydraulic system
• Easy bleed access

Very fine shifters, do everything they are supposed to do well.

Very nice shifters, do everything they are supposed to do well. Also lie well in the hand with plenty of grip. I didn't find pre-mounted claws that useful because you have to disconnect them anyway to shorten the cable or route it through the frame.

Very nice shifters, do everything they are supposed to do well. Also lie well in the hand with plenty of grip. I didn't find pre-mounted claws that useful because you have to disconnect them anyway to shorten the cable or route it through the frame.
