The chain as well as the cassette are durable, shift smoothly, and the cassette fits a 'regular' Shimano HG freehub. You won't need to purchase an XD freehub to mount this cassette.
The Sram PG-1130 11-42 cassette is part of the Sram NX groupset. The cassette has a wide gear range and is ideal for use in conjunction with a single front chainring. This cassette is also suitable for Sram finished cyclocross and road bikes with a single chainring in front.
