Description
Description
The sole of the Sidi Ergo 5 is made of full carbon. By using carbon, the sole is very stiff and all the power you provide comes in favor of cycling. The top side of this shoe is made of breathable artificial leather so that on hot days your feet do not overheat. This top is reinforced in the heel, so the shoe has a good fit and your heel will not rub. The closures of this shoe are two Sidi Tecno 3 closures and one velcro closure. With these fasteners you can tighten the shoe well and modulate the fit perfectly.
The Sidi Ergo 5 is a very good racing shoe. The shoe fits well, the sole is stiff, so nothing stands in your way to go as fast as possible!
Technology
• Soft Instep Closure 4 system to easily put on and take off the shoe• Tecno 3 closures
• Reinforced heel support
• The sole is made of 12 composite carbon
• Replaceable pad on the sole for easy walking
User tips
Detailed explanation of sizing in mmIn order to help you, as best we can, to choose the right size shoe we have measured all the shoes ourselves. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.
You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.
What shoe size you need can differ per brand. This is because certain brands wear larger or smaller. To help you get the perfect fit, we've also classified the shoes as narrow, average, or wide fit. Read all about it in our blog!

Solid shoe for a wide foot
Strong shoe, on the first ride I had a sore spot where the top of the tongue rests against the instep, adjusting the buckle strap slightly and making the top buckle a little less tight remedied that

Top shoes
Always thought I would never be able to fit sidi shoes. But the mega variant fits me like a glove. Do take 1 size bigger than your normal shoe size.

Nice racing shoes with stiff sole and good adjustability
Besides the nice look, also very good and stiff racing shoes! Very satisfied with them, although I need to touch up some pressure points after a few rides. Bought almost 2 sizes larger, shoes come out rel small. During running I do experience that these are a bit wobbly - fortunately cycling with them more :) - but takes some getting used to. Furthermore, the number of - stepless - adjustment possibilities is great and also unlocking goes very smoothly due to the pressure (red button) and unlocking system (press both black buttons at the same time); the wind system works very smoothly: turn and push lever down; The sole is very stiff but not bothersome; the shoe offers sufficient ventilation during the ride; have not had a sweltering feeling even on hot days. for now, very satisfied with it! Price is a bit of a problem, but soon forgotten...

Good shoe
Finally a fitting shoe for high, wide feet
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Good quality and beautiful.
The shoe fits like a glove. I have narrow feet. They cycle much more comfortably than my previous shoes. The tongue bends over at the top and grabs into your instep and it hurts. It seems to pass and is part of settling in.
