In the world of mountain bike pedals, there are cheap and expensive pedals. Very expensive pedals. To be clear, even the cheapest Shimano pedals have a good price-quality ratio. A lot of mountain bikers ride around with pedals of 30 euro and they are really happy with them.
Why are these XTR M9000 so much more expensive and are they worth the extra money? First of all there is a significant weight reduction. This saves about 15 up to 20% compared to the cheaper versions. Important is the life span and usage . The titanium hardware for the clipping mechanism is coated with fluorine, this ensures sand and mud do not have any grip on this pedal. This makes clipping-in even easier. In addition they have implemented an update in the connection between axle and bearing, so the pedal runs even smoother. In short a set of pedals that you will take with you to your next bike, because the quality and durability is extremely good. One of the reasons why there are a lot of professional athletes who pay for their own pedals.

Beautifully made.

To be honest I was not sure weather to put these on my bike or to display them in an art gallery . Because they are so beautifully made ! I made the hard choice to put them on my bike and they are just superb. I can highly recommend these XTR pedals as being the very best money can buy. Also as always Mantel gave me simply first class service on both price and delivery

Beautifully made.
