Ratios for every terrain
Various cassette ratios are available, enabling you to adapt to whatever terrain you're taking on. There are the 11/25 and 12/25 for your rides on flat terrain. The 11/28 and 11/30 are suitable for hilly trails and, for more experienced riders, mountainous areas. For the average cyclist however the 11/32 and 11/34 cassettes are the most suitable choice for the high mountains. Of course, all of this depends on whether you ride compact, semi-compact or double.

Technology

Quick and smooth shifting due to high-quality cut
During the production process, the sprockets are shaped with great precision. Shifting lines have been applied to the cassette and some teeth have been given rounded tips. This makes shifting very quiet and smooth, even with a lot of force on the pedals. The wear resistance of this cassette is also very good because the sprockets have been given a special, wear-resistant coating.

Cassette width
This cassette has a 11/34 gear ratio, which is the same width as a 10-speed mountain bike cassette. Due to the umbrella-shaped spider it is also compatible with a mountain bike body.

Spiders for extra stiffness
In this cassette the first five sprockets rest on spiders. A spider is an aluminum object manufactured from one piece. Instead of having separate sprockets, in this cassette the sprockets have been secured onto the spiders. Aside from making the cassette more lightweight, it also gives it more stiffness. In turn, this stiffness allows more energy to be transformed into speed. In addition, this extra stiffness also prevents the cassette from corroding the body.

Mounting with special tools
To assemble and disassemble this cassette you will need specific cassette tools. These can be found here.

Don't forget the assembly grease!
The lockring on your cassette should be tightened, in most cases up to 40Nm. To loosen the cassette, we recommend you to apply a little bit of assembly paste to the lockring. Our assembly greases can be found here.

User tips

How often should I clean my bike? Regular cleaning ensures that your materials lasts longer and that you can enjoy cycling for longer. How often you need to clean depends on the weather conditions in which you ride. Do you cycle through all kinds of weather, or do you only go out when the sun is shining? It all affects the degree of wear and tear and some people will have to clean their bikes more often than others. Use the schedule below as a guide:

October to March:
• Clean every 200 km
• Rinse after every ride
• Dry and oil the chain after every ride
• Leave the bike to dry at room temperature

April to September:
• Clean every 300 km
• Rinse off after cycling in the rain
• Dry and oil the chain after polishing or rinsing
