Minimal cable resistance
The Shimano Dura Ace 9000 brake cable set features a special polymer coating on the inside. This coating reduces friction between the inner and outer cable, ultimately making your braking lighter. The grease is also kept inside the cable for longer, as there is a smaller surface area rubbing against the cable. This keeps the cable functioning as smoothly as possible.
Sand and water resistant
The Shimano Dura Ace 9000 features sealed end caps. This better protects the inner cable from dust, sand, water and other debris which can drastically shorten the life of a cable.
