Clearly more ride comfort than a butyl tyre. Do pay attention to the rim height; with a rim 5 cm or higher, you will probably need a valve extension pipe to inflate the tyre.

Inner tubes that roll smoothly and also give a bit more comfort. No punctures yet. I use these inner tubes with valve extenders. However, of the three inner tubes I bought, two of the three valve cores do not fit properly in the valve extender (I cannot screw them all the way into the extender, so they are not airtight). This makes those valve cores unusable for me. I had to use other valve cores.

Tire slowly loses pressure due to its porous properties. So it is necessary to inflate your tires before every ride. For me no problem but, on vacation or somewhere where you don't have access to a pump I would still go for butyl.

Fine inner tubes that really make everything feel a little smoother. These tires are up to 28mm, but I use them in 32mm tires with no problem. So far 1 puncture in a few thousand km. Just stuck it with an old-fashioned sticker and I'm cycling on again without any problems. Latex is more porous than butyl, but I don't mind pumping it up before every ride. Nice price at Mantel.

Fine combo with Vittoria Corsa folding tires. Pumped up with air, the small molecules of a gas cartridge escape quickly. Nice black valve with no ring nut as it should be but therefore a rattle on bad roads.

Very nice light tires. They say this has improved rolling resistance compared to "normal" inner tubes. I do notice a small difference, I maintain a certain speed a little easier. Highly recommended for this price!

Switched to latex tires because this would offer less rolling resistance. As a top amateur I don't notice this of course. But I have now ridden over 6000 km with them and not a single puncture with conti 5000's!

I now have these inner tubes on them for 7000km in combination with GP5000 and Mavic Ksyrium carbon disc. Switch from butyl to these was noticeable the first ride, more cushioning. Although you quickly get used to the feeling. Only had 1 puncture, a deflate. Stuck a sharp part in the outer tire.... When replacing the outer tires, I noticed that they did get a bit thinner locally, deformed. Or better perhaps "shaped" to the rim shape. Apart from that, they continue to do their job.

Like my pre-evaluator, I can also only recommend these hoses. Drive them for years without any problem even on long distances and consider them the best currently available latex hoses. Important is the correct assembly: If possible with gloves, much talc and assemble feeling. After insertion, carefully check for proper fit (keyword: pinching). If this is observed, the hoses are completely unaufffällig; they can BTW be easily repaired with the usual patching kit. Daily re-pumping is a feature of latex hoses, technically unavoidable and therefore a feature you simply have to reckon with. The gain in comfort and grip is in any case considerable and clearly noticeable, especially on long distances and bad roads.

Ridden it for six months. Within a week the valve broke on both the front and rear tire when inflating. Because of the latex material you have to inflate more often than a normal inner tube, the valve doesn't seem to know how to deal with that,

The disadvantage of these (and other) latex tires is that they can be more easily damaged during installation. Thus, extra care must be taken here (preferably without tire levers). If one does not have much experience mounting tires, I would not recommend these. Once mounted, however, these feel very light and roll off smoothly. I do not feel that these puncture any faster than butyl, if properly inflated before each ride. Also, they do not lose excessive pressure: +- 1.5 bar per day. These tires are a great upgrade for a results-oriented cyclist, at a low price.

After years of using ordinary butyl tubes, I decided to try something else. I really like these latex tubes. They seem to go flat less quickly (which hasn't happened yet, but time will tell) and have a lower rolling resistance than regular butyl tubes. However, it is important to inflate the tires to the desired pressure before every ride, as they lose air very quickly.

I was surprised at the noticeable difference between this tube and the butyl tubes I used before. The Vittoria Latex tubes roll a lot faster. After about 500 kilometers or so, I haven't had a puncture, despite bad weather, but that's to be expected. In addition, they are lighter than butyl tubes, although the kinetic energy of a spinning wheel doesn't make much of a difference, except when accelerating. Should you want an inexpensive upgrade for your bike that will make you noticeably faster, these are a good choice.

Simple upgrade. Lower rolling resistance. Inflate before every ride though,... but I always did that. I have high rims, 64mm, so it came with a set of Vittoria valve extenders. 30mm. Too bad that comes with a tiny little tool that you have to have with you on the road and would rather not lose.

Disadvantage of latex inner teeth is that they are sensitive and still leak faster. However, these are of very sturdy material, they last a long time, roll super and deflate slowly. Very happy with them

Very good tire the advantages trump the disadvantages which are mainly in mounting and maintenance. Caution when mounting this tire is quite sensitive (latex) so treat it like your lover (with respect)

Very easy to put in. They come with already a thin layer of talcum powder like something. I put them under the continental 5000. It was easier than expected. Just a little bit of air in. Click-clack ready.

Fitted latex tires for the first time. A crime to get in, especially with a new tire. The fact that they stayed in one piece after my fiddling is a sign that they are sturdy tires.

Unlike the marketing buzz, I swapped my tubeless tires for the next best thing, these latex tubes. They are costly, but now you can begin to appreciate materials and look after them, so if you ever have flats (I hardly got 1-2 a year since) don't throw it away, patch it instead. It lasts up to 4-5 patches. So it turns out to be more economical than the butyl in the long run! I run it on rim brakes, Vittoria Corsa or Corsa control tires in the winter and Campy WTO carbon wheels. Another myth. I have done over 8000km this year with them in the heat of Greece in August and the cold of December in Sussex. They are durable, elastic, light and no unless you mistreat them they won't blow as rumour has it!! Do your bit for the environment as well. Latex is natural and it is likely it will compost, unlike butyl. Latex will give you that suppleness you get with tubeless tires too if you pump to the min tire pressure/body weight ratio ;-) One minus is that the max valve length is 40mm, but it comes with removable core, so you easily add an extender if you have low profile tyres like mine.

Unlike the common myth, that latex will blow up due to heat and carbon rim wheels I have been running these with a Vittoria Corsa tyre on a Campagnolo WTO wheel with rim brakes. I swapped for this after my tubeless tires and feel glad to have done so. Why? Ease of use in the odd case of a flat and still a quality softer ride than butyl. Latex is more flexible, and yes, you can patch them several times before you throw them away.

These run super fast when combined with Vittoria Graphene outer tires. Don't go off too fast either and are much more comfortable than Butyl. I have the green Michelin Latex tubes on another bike, but these are even better and slightly stronger. Also, the only latex with removable valves to work with valve extenders. I am a fan!
