Fantastic package, brilliant brakeset

- Russ, 26 July, 2020

I was skeptical as previously I have suffered with many issues with Shimano brakes. However in the weeks I have used these they have been mighty impressive. Set up out of the box was simple and the brakeset are beautifully made. Mantel service was again spot on

Pros & Cons

Beautifully finished
Ease of setup
Loads of power
More modulation than before
Not exactly cheap
Standard organic pads are a compromise

Perfect

- Gilles, 13 July, 2020

The kit is assembled but the duct is not connected to the lever so that it can be slid into the frame. An end cap is placed on the sheath ready for assembly.

Powerful

- Craig, 13 October, 2019

Coming from Formula R1's I wasn't sure how powerful these would feel however I was not disappointed, power is great and modulation is not an issue, bleeding was easy and the mineral oil is nice to work with. Adjustment is awesome and the extra contact point makes them feel solid under heavy braking. Only downside for me was getting my gear shifter and dropper post lever where I wanted them due to brake lever clamp and extra contact point but you soon adjust. (Top Tip: buy the right tools to cut the hose and insert barb it makes a big difference)

Pros & Cons

Good adjustment
Great modulation
Powerful
Solid feel
Lever postioning takes some work
