Excellent gloves

- Paul, 1 November, 2019

I purchased these gloves early October in the hope they would keep my hands warm when out cycling this winter. First impressions are very good. They look very well made from quality products, feel really nice, Tip-order one size bigger than the measurement chart suggests, my size according to the measurement chart is borderline between medium and large however from past experiences large is too tight so I ordered extra large and they fit perfect. I have only used them 5 times so far but I am very happy. You realise how effective they are when you take them off and in a very short time your hands are cold. Looking forward to using them in winter temperatures. The RRP is around £175 which is quite expensive however Mantel had an offer on for £104 which was very competitive. Delivery was free and I received them in 2 days. I would recommend both Mantel and the gloves.

Good heating at maximum

- Oscar, 28 October, 2019

The heating works well at maximum temperature setting. I’ve tested at 5 degrees moving at 60mph and I did not get cold hands.

Pros & Cons

Draw string helps with waterproofing
Light weight
Small un-intrusive batteries
strong heating element
At max setting will run out after 1.5 hours
In heavy rain, water does get in through the cuff
Long charge times
