Light yet sturdy goggles for all (light) conditions that fit very well. Above all! My 3rd photochromic Oakley, but definitely not my last! After more than 4 years the photochromic discoloured . So replaced , used extensively on race bike & mtb & under my motorbike helmet !

Only in very bright sun you could take another lens (road). It is very light and you do not feel it on a Openings in the top work well against fogging of the lens

The glasses were the birthday gift for my father. He was very pleased. They are kept very simple and yet look very modern, they do not slip and is hardly noticeable on the nose and ears.

I've been using the glasses for the last two weeks mainly on tree lined routes and open roads with perfect vision in all conditions . All in all a first class pair of sunglasses

Amazing clarity of lenses. Photochromatic lens perfect for UK riding. Fit is excellent and they are very light...stay in place without gripping too hard

Perfect for sport in the mountains of Snowdonia

Best riding glasses for cycling in the dark, dusk or dawn! Vision is ultra clear and doesn't dim your vision. Essential for protecting your eyes from the wind and flying particles! It isn't for bright sunny days if you prefer using standard shades, unless you are used to riding in sunny conditions with wearing shade. In which theses will give you superior protection either way! Mantel had the best deal anywhere and delivery was fast...the real deal!

I’ve ridden in all sorts of conditions that have challenged these glasses and they are almost faultless! Photochromic lenses react very quickly, I was even able to comfortably ride in low sun conditions. Comfortable and reactive enough that you forget you have glasses on. Get a bit steamy when you stop but hats just physics, not a problem when there’s enough air flow.

I bought these after a bit of research as although they are a bit pricey, they were reviewed as being worth the money and with Mantel’s reduced price I decided to take the plunge. After a couple of weeks using them I fully agree that the photochromic lenses and design do exactly as they should. I’ve worn them from early morning into wet cloudy weather and also on clear sunny says. The lenses work perfectly in all conditions and the design of the glasses means no misting or movement. Really good product and no more lenses changing faff for me.

Great for those days you start early or are riding a little later when light conditions are going to change.

Have only worn them a couple of times so far, yesterday's rain didn't test the photochromic capability but they kept the rain out of my eyes. The fit is snug and the glasses don't move (well up to 30mph anyway).

O.K. , so at 60+ I finally buy my first pair of Oakley's , resulting in much ironic applause from my son, who has been a massive Oakley fan (cricket / skiing /biking) for years....! What can I say ? Superb optics, well made, so comfortable, & the "taller" lens & side shaping great for biking or skiing; the photochromic lenses work really well in changing light conditions while walking or riding, & they are a class above the Tifosi photo's they are replacing. Oh, & my wife says they look good too......now there's a result !! Quite fancy trying a prizm lens next; which one would suit skiing best guys ?

I bought these as I had been wanting some photochromic lenses, instead of having to switch lenses for different conditions, and they are superb. I don't notice the change in the colour of the lens, everything seems to remain the same. I kind of forget I am wearing them, which speaks volumes. Coming from Racing Jackets these have far better visibility due to the bottomless frame, but whether it's because I'm used to them, the Racing Jackets feel just a little bit more comfortable, but these are not uncomfortable. In summary, I am very pleased with my purchase.
