Mavic Cosmic SL 32 Disc

Came out of the box with a stroke, both front and rear, so returned for a new set. These also turned out to have strikes, front 4 spokes and rear 6 spokes set, but also a height strike at the rear, on both wheels the hubs were not in the middle of the spoke angle and in front a bit in the hollow of the rim, and 3 sets of brake discs on these mavic hubs turned out to have woble, which on my old wheels don't show up. So really hugely strange factory errors that should have been taken out in no time at a quality check, but alas!!!. Further about service Mantel: good people behind the phone and mail, but between mail and answer of a week waiting time! That could be better!

Pros & Cons

Compared to my Fulcrum alu, I didn't notice any gains when climbing. On the other hand, the stiffness is excellent when dancing, and on fast descents, the gains in stability, precision, grip and comfort are all there. I'm taking off one star because I don't think the rim finish is top-notch.
