KMC X11

This chain is not replaceable for Shimano's CX-11, rattles and does not seem to fit properly. Consequently, don't get it adjusted properly. Pity about this purchase.

Again very satisfied with the fast delivery and good customer service. The chain arrived in perfect condition, it is a slightly heavier chain than e.g. the ultegra or dura ace chains but that is no problem for me.

I use the X12, X11 and X10 models on MTBs and BDCs with popular brand drivetrains and find only improvements over chains of far more expensive makes and models. For me, it has no faults. Highly recommended.

The purchase was easy and arrived very quickly. I have been using KMC for years and they work very well and last me more than 4000km. In the last few months I could not find stock in any store, but mantel did have it. I bought it and it arrived fast and cheaper than in other stores that didn't even have it.

This is an excellent chain which makes little noise, even if it is slightly "skewed". Running direction does not matter, so it cannot be misplaced. The missing link can be used several times, so with this material you can use two chains for one cassette by changing the chains regularly. Chain does not wear quickly and is also favorably priced.

Been using KMC chains for years for both mtb and road bike. I also like to have something different from "the rest". Does everyone ride with shimano cleats? Do I take look. Does everyone take conti gp5000 tires? I go for the schwalbe one. Does everyone go for shimano chains? I'll take KMC. Just shift smoothly. Missing link just comes with it like it should as far as I'm concerned.

Bought this chain in a double test against the Shimano 11sp 105 chain. Price is about a 10€ cheaper, and you notice it. The packing grease is very tough, hard to get off. There is also more side play on the links than on the Shimano. You can move the chain almost a millimeter to the left and right on the front bar (a new front bar, not yet worn out). Nothing to say about durability yet, we'll have to see in 5000-8000km.
