Have known Kmc for a long time pricey versus other brands but will last at least twice as long with proper maintenance even longer

Since I replaced my original sprockets and chain with Absolute Black ovals, I also wanted a new chain. I liked the gold color so I ordered this one. Original is also KMC so quality is equal or even slightly better. There may be a little more noise in the drive, usually when the chain is on the far left or right side but it doesn't bother me at all, I'm all about pedaling and shifting and that's fine.

I replaced my KMX X10EL after 3800km. My chain-wear-calibre fell through on the 0.75mm side, the 1mm side not yet, even when applying pressure. Replacing it then is recommended. The KMC chain makes my Shimano Ultegra shift better than with any Shimano chain. The noise the chain makes is substantial but that reduces quickly in use. The weight saving is marginal but in terms of chain beating on a bad road surface, there is a noticeable difference. It theoretically reduces the chances of a run-off. I fitted a KMC X10EL chain again. The price was keen at Mantel.

KMC chains remain my favourite. I thoroughly degrease and wax them every time, whether for racing, gravel or Mtb.

Fine chain have put it on my "se bike" and I still sometimes jump on that and the chain hasn't snapped so far. Easy to install if you know a bit about bikes. And the colour gold is delightfully ordinary

Fine chain, use it on xt 2x11. Always alternate, then clean one and the cassette lasts longer.

Feel like an Olympic champion with this gold chain! Too poor yourself for a gold chain, probably because all your money goes to bike parts? Then upgrade your bike with a gold chain, so at least your bike can enjoy this luxury. You almost don't want to take your showpiece outside because the chain might get dirty, and people won't see how luxurious your bike with gold chain is. Of course, the chain is also super light, naturally runs and shifts perfectly (like all KMC chains), and with the missing link it is incredibly easy to install and fairly easy to re-use if you do want one less link. Did I mention it's gold!!!! If you keep the chain clean properly, it's also a great way to dazzle your opponents to get that extra advantage in a race. Finally, it works just as well on my campagnolo group as on the shimano, and I can even swap them between the two!

At 2250km, the 0.75mm side of my chain calibre drops between the links. The lifespan is similar to that of the Shimano Ultegra 6600 chains I was using. For better shifting, I choose KMC X10EL 10 speed again. I shift with Ultegra 3 x 10 speed and like to climb a lot.

In recent years I have only cycled with KMC chains. Very good experiences with them in terms of wear resistance, strength and rust resistance, especially the EPT versions. At least 3000 km with MTB

Chain stretched. Cassete well worn. Fitted new Shimano Ultegra cassete - purchased from Mantel. Fitted new KMC chain. Problems resolved, right products and excellent service from Mantel. I only use KMC Chains. Seriously longwearing and robust. Easy to maintain due to chain link . Keep them clean, keep them oiled, keep on rolling.
