Aktiv-8 Control Drive + 3 CO2 cartridges

Can't report any bubbling experience yet thankfully, bought as an extra with a set of new inner & outer tyres so the first leak is hopefully going to be a long time coming. Actually, I am hoping for the rain suit experience, if you have it with you it will stay dry :)

Fortunately, I haven't had to use it yet. Despite being plastic it does look sturdy and solid!

Fortunately, I have never had to use it in real life but I did test how it all works. It costs a cartridge, but that's how it is. It is all very simple, just remember to put some protection around the cartridge....there is no cover included.

Already used 2 cartridges during the dam to dam cycling classic. After 3 km already had 2 flat tires with a cycling buddy. Could quickly resume the 150 km thanks to the co2 cartridges. Top stuff!!!

Quickly delivered can easily fit in your saddle bag. Furthermore, fortunately no experience yet. Haven't used them yet. Did not have a flat tire keep it that way. Hence the 4 stars as I have not used them yet.

Purchased this CO2 controller as a replacement for one that you have to push on the valve to get "air" in your tire. And which had gotten stuck after use. This is quite an improvement. You screw the silver ring onto the valve. Then it is airtight and you don't have to push it onto the valve yourself. No need to hold it when it gets cold. Then you can use the screw button to let "air" into your tire in a very controlled way. First just to check your tube and if necessary to put it right. Then to inflate it hard.

It's a product that hopefully you won't have to use or use infrequently. i got a flat tire after a long ride and was almost home when my tire failed. Tire changed, hand pump broken. This is small, lies and easier. Actually indispensable if you go some longer distances on one bike and there is no bike shop around the corner. Fixing a tire on the road is one thing but putting air in your tire is another.

Great product. Only drawback (for me) is that when I have inflated tire and there is still air in the cartridge I can't properly store the drive and pump, when they are together, in my bag under my saddle. Anyway, a bigger bag would already solve that of course.
