solid but very heavy anti-theft device

Even though it is a very good (read safe) lock. It is not very practical. You often can't attach both your frame and also your front wheel to a post because it's not flexible enough. It is also otherwise very heavy. Bit of a shame.

The "ring" that you can make is actually just too small so your bike can't always k9men nicely on a pole. Lock feels very solid and is compact. With the holder good to attach to the bike. Lock feels very solid and qualitative

Nice, sturdy and good product. Compact and convenient to attach to your bike. Price seems a bit high but you definitely get something in return. So good value for money. Delivery by mantel is fast and well taken care of.

The product meets my expectations perfectly, it's sturdy, easy to use, and the storage rack is well thought out. Sincerely, it's hard to find any negative points apart from the length, but in my case it's for use with an electric scooter, so maybe it's better suited to use with a bike.

What to say? Very good quality, as usual from Abus, a massive bicycle lock of the highest security level. Therefore, of course, it is also quite heavy. It is somewhat difficult to handle, but a folding lock, which on top of that is almost impossible to crack, is something different than a simple rope lock.

The lock is very sturdy but that does add weight. The holder is also sturdy and easy to install but the lock does make extra noise in it when riding over cobblestones.

I have the Foldylock for my other bike, and I have to say that the Abus Bordo feels much stronger - it is heavier and the cylinder is much better protected. When folded, it does not take a lot of space but you can leave your bike in confidence.

Very convenient lock because you can fold it so small. But this flexibility does not affect the solidity of the lock. Not for nothing approved by insurers.

Good lock, strong and folds up quite small. Drawbacks are it doesn't have a great reach and be careful of the end which can scratch your bike

Heavy. Strong. Secure as they come. But a bit too short to go around wheel, frame and bike rack sometimes. Also comes with a holder but the mounting straps are not very helpful to fix such a heavy lock to try bike frame. Expect better for the price.

Compact and good to carry on the bike, I do doubt that the 85 cm is not too small, it is often not possible to take a wheel with you if you lock the frame, inbut there is no opportunity before buying to compare it with the 105 cm version.

Heavy sturdy feel to it. Fits on bottle mount and comes with the holder. Could do with being a bit longer as I have an electric bike so the frame is thicker than a normal bike making locking it to anything other than a barrier style bike station quite difficult. Bike storage stations in train stations require an additional chain to reach the bar.

It is generally accepted that the most secure locks on the market are ‘U’ (or ‘D’) locks. Other types of lock are often more convenient - less bulk and weight, but constitute a compromise in terms of security. Imagine my surprise when I received this folding lock and discovered it is actually much heavier than my Abus U lock! I also watched a video review where the tester managed to break this lock quite easily with the aid of a cheap and simple tool. I was very surprised at Abus. Would not buy this lock again.

Due to the rubber coating, scratches on the frame, with a small amount of caution, are good to avoid. The supplied bracket can be attached to any frame by the Velcro fasteners. The lamp in the key is a feature that is not absolutely necessary, since the key goes very easily into the lock. The only trade-off you probably have to make with all locks in this class is the weight. With its 85cm length, you already have to look for a suitable place to connect it firmly.

The Abus Bordo Granit X-plus 6500 is in my opinion the best folding lock what abus has ever made. Of course, the lock is somewhat heavy but who wants to have his bike securely connected the weight does not bother. It is very secure in the hand through its rubber ring without it slipping quickly through the fingers. The associated lock bag can be mounted perfectly on the bike. Either on the holder for the cup holder or with Velcro. I have the lock with Velcro befästigen have to because my e-bike unfortunately has no drink bottle holder. Would buy the lock again and my wife I have this lock also already made very palatable.

Everything top, only the screws for mounting on the bottle cage are too short (for a Kalkhoff wheel), but could be quickly replaced by longer ones.

This lock is really cleverly designed. A bit weighty but you can mount it on the frame of your bike instead of putting in a rucksack. At least i know that my bike is more secure with this wrapped around the frame to a bike stand.

It is a super processed lock, which also does not cause scratches on the frame thanks to rubber coating on all parts. The lock is unexpectedly heavy and can be closed really well and work with it. The holder is either with screws or Velcro tapes to attach to the frame. The lock is so very fixed, so that no annoying noise. Available in 2 lengths, the one with 85cm is perfectly sufficient to attach the front wheel incl frame to a lamp. All around a really good product for high quality bikes, e-bikes and pedalecs

This lock is a fine lock, very well made and strong. Because of its design it can be tricky to manoeuvre particularly when it is difficult to get close to the fixed point. Service was excellent. The system for storage and attaching to the bike is exce.
