Everything about this handlebar exudes quality. The places where the shifters and stem should be attached are slightly roughened for extra friction, keeping them firmly in place. The flat aero shape not only looks very nice, it is also comfortable for your forearms when you want to cycle in a more relaxed position yourself. I also notice a clear difference with how nice it is to have such a stiff handlebar when pulling a full sprint compared to my old aluminium handlebars. Although this handlebar was obviously developed to hide all cables internally, this is not a requirement and it still supports slightly older Shimano groupsets just fine. The handlebar is a bit narrower than my previous one which makes for a more comfortable ride. For the internal cable routing through the handlebars, I did have to replace/extend the outer cable of my brakes because they were just a bit short. It was a bit of a chore to guide the cables through the handlebars, but in the end it worked out well.
Super light and a beautiful design are the first things that stand out when unpacking this handlebar. Holes in the right places allow all cables to be routed internally through the handlebars. Unfortunately, this was not possible with my shifters. The handlebar is really designed to be used with Di2. Due to its special shape, the handlebars are very aerodynamic and pleasant to rest your hands on. Fully carbon and therefore very stiff and a bit narrower than a normal mainstream handlebar, making it responsive to adjustments. The only downside to the handlebars I have come across is that due to the unusual shape and little to no accessories (GPS holders, bike bell) can be mounted on them. But that's not a problem for most serious cyclists.

Upon delivery, I thought I was receiving an empty box, that's how light this handlebar is. Once unpacked, I found beautiful handlebars that were easy to assemble. In the places where the stem and shifters are mounted, the handlebars are rough to make sure they won't slide. This gives confidence. The cable routing makes for a nice finish. I cycled for years with traditional handlebars so aero handlebars were exciting for a while. After 300 km I changed my mind and find an aero handlebar very pleasant to ride because of its flat part. Apart from the experience while cycling, the eye wants something too. A nice upgrade to my bike.
