Top wheelset for road bikes at a fair price
My front wheel rim was defective, due to the good price of the Elite carbon rims and the reviews, I decided in favour of this complete set. Delivery was very fast and super (protected) packed - great if you want to make the most of the last days of summer! New tyres on the rims went very smoothly, as did fitting and changing the brake pads (included). After the first few rides, there's a clear plus for riding feel and speed! Cool style for the Canyon included :). In strong winds on the open road, you have to be prepared for a slight wobble in the handlebars, but it's absolutely doable and no surprise with high rims in combination with a place of residence near the coast. Under normal weather conditions, it's completely fine and you can enjoy the speed! Therefore a clear recommendation from me.

Top wheels
Very fine wheels with super good value for money. They ride noticeably more comfortably than my old aluminium rims, speed is also easier to hold. Only downside is that they are more sensitive in strong side winds (harder to keep your handlebars, bars exactly straight). Nevertheless, I would buy them again in a heartbeat, and I live on the coast where the wind is often strong.

Positively surprised
Easy to install tires (TR). Will see breaking surface afer 1000km to be sure if they are worth the price (now, only 1 ride completed). Experience? Cross wind is not a problem, easier to keep the speed.

Bad start and eventual top performance in the Ardennes
Had problems with brake edge rear rim where it wore away very quickly after 8-10 rides in flat Netherlands with some minimal rain. (Blocks supplied) Solved by Mantel/Elite. Actually wanted to write giant burn-off review because of disappointment. But after replacement: Also did Ardennes trip in Stavelot with bits of aggressive cobblestones in the village and very fast descents in the area at 70kmh. Rims survived all that and braked very well and controllably with my weight. No discernible wear front or rear. Cornering also good. (Dry weather, BBB carbostop blocks, 25mm tyres) So very satisfied in the end after a very bad start. *Sounds like a fanboy review but am so surprised in the end that the rims survived Stavelot. Hence the effort for a review.

Awesome wheelset for road riders
I love this Elite wheelset, they are very comfortable to ride
