Description

Description

The Park Tool HXS-1.2m allen key set is a set consisting of hard steel allen keys of professional quality. This makes them ideal for working on your road bike, mountain bike, city bike and all your other bikes.

Higher purchase price, but long-term savings
These hex keys may be a bit on the high side when it comes to purchase price. On the other hand, these hardened steel allen spanners will not turn your screws as fast as cheaper, softer spanners. These spanners will therefore save you a lot of frustration and money in the long run, making them well worth the investment!

Storage in compact form
These keys can be stored compactly and the handy packaging ensures that you will not lose them easily.

Contains the following sizes
This set contains allen keys with a diameter of 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 mm.

Good quality

- Rr 7 October 2021

Much better than entry-level allen keys. I couldn't unscrew with entry-level ones, but with these I could unscrew easily. They stood up to the grime of the bike. To be seen in the long term.

Pros & Cons

Long enough to force
More compact than T-wrenches
Strong
A little difficult to handle with gloves

Park Tools quality

- Chris 22 September 2021

Excellent set of Allen keys from Park Tools. Contrary to the negative comments on the site, the spanners are not difficult to remove from their case. You just rotate them until they click (about 10 degrees) and then they slide out by themselves (well, maybe not the very first time). Another negative point raised in the reviews was the size of the 5mm key, which is said to be 0.1mm too large... My set fits perfectly in all the screws I've tried, I can't see any problem.

Pity, just not

- Thomas 10 November 2020

For me too, the 5 on the short side is just too big. I think it is a 5.1mm. But that makes it unusable and that's just the spanner you use the most. The rest of the spanners are of good quality but I think this is a big miss from Park Tool.

Pros & Cons

All but the 5 are very good

Almost perfect

- Thomas 25 September 2020

Generally quite satisfied, but the 5 is just too big on the short side. Then I'm talking about 0.1mm I think, but because of that it doesn't fit and so you just can't put force on 5mm bolts. That's obviously the one you use about the most so that's quite annoying. The rest of the sizes are perfect!

Pros & Cons

Feel durable
Solid
The 5 is oversized on one side
