Description
The fastest racing tyre in the Michelin collection.
The Michelin Power Competition is Michelin Pro4 Competition’s successor. With the Competition racing tyres, Michelin focuses on minimal rolling resistance and maximum speed. For years, the Michelin Pro 4 competition was the flagship in the Michelin tyre series, but with the arrival of the Power Competition this has definitely come to an end. 200.000 test kilometers and almost 5 years later Michelin finished the tyre that leaves their competition miles behind when it comes to rolling resistance.Less rolling resistance and improved puncture resistance.
The Michelin Power Competition surpasses the Pro 4 Competition in every respect. The tyres are aimed at the competitive cyclist. The Power Competition saves 25% on rolling resistance, which is about 10 watt compared to its predecessor Pro4 Service Course! Not only the rolling resistance has been improved, the durability and puncture resistance as well. The tyre is equipped with Aramid Protek Puncture Protection. This anti-puncture strip offers good protection against cuts caused by sharp stones.Good grip on dry and wet roads
The Michelin Power Competition is completely slick, so there is no tread on the tyre. Contrary to popular belief, this ensures a good grip on the road surface. The contact surface with the road is, depending on the flexibility of the tyre, larger with slick tyres. With a 3 x 180 tpi carcass you can be sure that you have a good grip on dry and wet roads. With the Michelin Power Competition you have a competitive all-rounder in your hands.Reviews

First class tyres
Mantel is superb. There delivery is fast. As for the michelin tyres. I would not use any other make. They are the very best. Easy to fit by hand, no tyre leavers. Very fast , no punctures. I have them on all my bikes. For winter , spring, summer and autumn. I rate them at 100 %. Highly recommended.

Great tyres, lightweight, but still tough
I’ve had Michelin pro4 SC for the last couple of years, these are the new version, one noticeable thing ; their profile is more like a 25 mm tyre, not a 28mm, which I found the pro4 were very “generous “ in that department. They grip and feel great !

I have tried many tyres over the years and these are the best ever, simply the best.
Great tyres, fast, smooth, good puncture resistance, “simply the best”

Great performance, really good race tyre you can train on as it's durable
Easier to get on rim than tubeless, great sound and feel, grip is confidence boosting. They don't need as much air in as the tyre suggests, I run mine at 85-90psi. I've had other Michelin tyres in past, I can't say I've noticed anything different but they were good anyway.
