Description

The improved, user friendly Speed / Cadence sensor from Garmin is for everybody who loves convenience. While riding your bike this set keeps track of your cadence and/or speed thanks to the easy install sensors. Attach the Garmin speed / cadence sensor and you're on your way. These sensors operate without magnets or other parts that need to be aligned. Designed for an easy install, maintaince and transfer to another bike.

The cadence sensor can be attached to a crank of any size and measures the number of pedal revolutions per minute, so you get the most out of your workout.

The speed sensor is attached to the hub of a wheel, calibrates itself with your Edge® and always gives your exact speed and distance, even when training indoors on the trainer.

It just works!

Tidy solution with nothing mounted on the stays. Used with my turbo trainer for zwift - paired with ant+ Usb dongle instantly and gives reliable data while riding. Also pored with my Garmin Edge 25 no problems. Perfect.

Neat, tidy, and effective

Bought as a second speed and cadence system to connect to my Garmin 510. Easy to install and sync with the Garmin. Recommend using a couple of zip-ties to secure your devices, rather than loose your investment on the road.

Pros & Cons

Easy to set up
Simple to fix

Easy to set up

- Tim 26 January 2016

I got these sensors for my new bike, which hasn't got built in sensor housing. Cadence sensor went straight on, speed sensor was a bit more fiddly. Getting fingers through the spokes & hooking up the stretchy band took a couple of attempts. All in, it only took 5 mins. My Garmin Edge 25 computer paired up & off I went. Only been for 1 ride, but they work fine. My only concern would be how long the stretchy rubber band on the speed sensor lasts, I had to pull it quite thin to get it hooked up on my hub.

Pros & Cons

Paired up with my Edge 25 easily
works well straight out of the box
Bit pricey
not sure how long rubber bands will last
