Description
When you're out riding in rain or wet conditions, your wheels will throw up a large amount of spray, getting you wet. Castelli has created the Tempesta leg warmers to cope with just that. The upper portion of the warmers use Nanoflex fabric which repels the water, while the lower half of the Tempesta leg warmers use eVent material.
eVent is waterproof, so if you combine the leg warmers with your waterproof shoe covers, your legs and feet will stay warm and dry. The eVent fabric on the lower half isn't just waterproof, but reflective as well. This ensures you're optimally visible to other traffic in dark conditions.
The leg warmers are easy to get into or out of, and are kept in place by the GIRO3 grippers and ankle zippers, the latter of which is placed on the outside. This has been done in order to keep the warmers as waterproof as they can be. The leg warmers really go together well with the Castelli Tempesta Rain Bibknicker.

Nanoflex: This fabric is manufactured exclusive by Castelli. It's base is a Thermo Fleece fabric,which is treated with million nano-filaments. What creates the most water-repellent fleece fabric ever made. Water drops remain in one piece and slide off the fabric without a trace. The perfect attire for rainy days.
eVent: Designed to keep you dry in wet conditions. The outside is waterproofed, while the inside features millions of tiny pores. This allows sweat to be moved away from the skin and to the outside of the garment. eVent is 30% more breathable than it's direct competitors.
