Description

Description

On the new aerodynamic frames you find more and more direct mount brakes. Instead of one attachment point on the frame, direct mount brakes have 2 attachment point on the frame. This can have an aerodynamic advantage due to the shape of the brake and the mounting location of the brake. This is the reason why you see a lot of direct mount brakes on aerodynamic frames. Campagnolo follows the Direct Mount trend with this set.

The stopping power is more symmetrical and efficient thanks to a special design. The brake pulls itself into balance. The stopping power is reliable by its rigid design, while the Campagnolo Skeleton design keeps its weight low.

There are two rear brake versions, one to mount on the traditional spot and one for under your bottom bracket.

Blinkin Brilliant!

- Jeremy 20 October 2016

I bought this, very hard to find, unit from Campag to replace an appalling unit from Tektro. This Campag brake was, as I had hoped and expected, a doddle to fit and adjust! It also brakes exceedingly well with great feedback, just like a traditional calliper despite the awkward BB mounted position on my bike. It also doesn't foul my cranks as a Shimano unit would have owing to the profile of my campag cranks. I love riding my bike again!
