Shifting is smoother and chain stability is improved compared to the RD-610. The Shimano Deore M6000 rear derailleur stands for reliable gear shifting with a rigid and open design. Thanks to Shadow technology, the rear derailleur is protected under the cassette. The + in Shadow+ stands for the possibility of adjusting the spring tension so that the chain does not rattle.

Montaje

Tightening and loosening the gear cable
To loosen and tighten the bolt that attaches the gear cable to the derailleur, you will need a 5 mm Allen key. These can be found here.

Disassembling the chain
Before you can remove the derailleur, you must remove the chain. How to do this you can read here. For this you need a chain rivet tool, which you can find here. Make sure you get the right brand and number of speed.

Use assembly paste to mount
When you mount your new rear derailleur, you should put some assembly paste on the threads of the derailleur pad. You can buy this from here.

Mounting derailleur pulleys
