Description
De Zipp Firecrest Carbon Tubular wielen: Altijd als eerste boven. Een wiel verbeteren en ook nog eens goedkoper maken. Klinkt niet logisch maar het is toch een echt een feit bij de Zipp 202 Firecrest Carbon Clincher Wielset. De klassieke 'do-it-all' 202 Firecrest wielset is uitgerust met Zipp's 77/177 naven. Deze naven hebben een aangepaste flens geometrie en spaakbevestiging. Dit zorgt voor een hogere torsie- en laterale stijfheid.
Het Firecrest profiel kenmerkt zich door een bijna constante velgbreedte, van remvlak tot spaakbed. Dit resulteert in meer controle over luchtstroming en verbeterde aerodynamica. De Zipp 202 Carbon Firecrest is dan ook sneller en stabieler dan andere wielen met een vergelijkbare velghoogte.
ABLC Technologie
Zipp ABLC technologie maximaliseert de voordelen van Zipp 's gepatenteerde Firecrest velgprofiel. Het ABLC velgprofiel met kuiltjes in de velg zorgt voor kleine wervelingen die de luchtstroom naar binnen geleid waardoor de luchtstroom strak langs de velg gaat en minder wervelingen achter de velg teweeg brengt.

Installing a cassette on a wheel is easy if you have the right tools. If you purchase a cassette remover with a Shimano fit, you will be able to mount either a Shimano or Sram cassette on your rear wheel. Please note! For a Campagnolo cassette you need the Campagnolo tool. If you have a Shimano 9/10-speed cassette, first slide the spacer over the body. Then you place the cassette on the body. This can only be done in one way because of the fit of the body. Finally you turn the washer straight on by hand and tighten it with the cassette tool. Cassettes aren’t easily overtightened, but if you want you can use a torque wrench for this.
• Make sure the rim tape is stuck well in the rim.
