Description
The Trek Supercaliber 9.7 is a short travel cross-country bike that bridges the gap between hardtail and full-sus competition bikes thanks to integrated IsoStrut suspension.
Designed for speed and technical trails
With the Supercaliber 9.7, Trek has developed a mountain bike where no longer have to choose between a hardtail or a full-sus. This mountain bike combines the advantages of both types in one super bike that will roll over the most technical obstacles with speed and ease!
Not sure whether you should go for a hardtail or a full-sus? Then this Trek mountain bike is perfect for you!
The rear shock's 60mm travel offers better grip and control than a hardtail, but at the same time, it's not as complex and lighter than a traditional full suspension mountain bike.
Flexible and strong
Trek's proprietary OCLV Mountain Carbon provides the right mix of flex and strength in the hingeless rear axle, the Straight Shot down tube adds extra stiffness for a responsive and responsive ride. The frame also has space for two bottle cages.
Fine assembly
The stiff and wonderfully wide carbon rim in this Trek Supercaliber 9.7 mean that you can run lower tyre pressures. This increases grip and control with reduced rolling resistance. Who wouldn't want that? For the assembly of the Supercaliber 9.7, Trek chose Shimano XT/SLX which shifts quickly and precisely, in all conditions.
