The Trek Dual Sport 3 Gen 5 is simply a delightful multi-purpose bike. It is lightweight, fast, sporty, and it performs well no matter what you want it to do - commute to work, go on recreational Sunday tours, make your (long) daily rides, go out for a nice evening ride after work... The core of the Trek Dual Sport 3 Gen 5 is its lightweight aluminium frame, which ensures excellent handling. Several cables run through the frame, where they are well protected from splashing dirt. To add comfort, Trek has fitted a lightweight carbon fork, which absorbs the worst vibrations and makes for responsive steering.
Shifting and braking
For gear shifting, this hybrid bike is fitted with the Shimano Deore gear group. This group is a common feature on mountain bikes and performs well. The 10 gears and 11-46 cassette give you a huge gearing range, enabling you to make it to the top of steeper sections in your preferred gears. For braking, the Trek Dual Sport 3 has hydraulic disc brakes which you'll love because they deliver high braking power and have good modulation. When cycling on dry as well as wet surfaces, you can rely on the bike's excellent braking performance.
Wide tyres and rims
The wide tyres and rims give you much grip and comfort on all types of surfaces, allowing for a smooth and relaxing ride anytime and anywhere.
