The Flux 2 can do it all!

The Flux 2 Smart’s integrated power meter has an accuracy of 2.5 percent, placing it in the upper layer of most accurate turbo trainers available. Ideal when you’re training for watt level. The Flux 2 Smart is also an excellent pick for muscle machines. This turbo trainer has a maximum power of 2000 watt. Apart from that, the gradient can go up to 16 percent. The Flux 2’s electronic brake can be controlled by software. This allows for truly realistically simulated climbs due to automatic gradient adjustments. The Garmin HRM-Dual's real-time heart rate data gives you the most accurate training information, allowing you to optimally adjust your performance. Via ANT+ and Bluetooth connections, you can easily pair the heart rate monitor with your Garmin device, online training programmes like Zwift, compatible fitness equipment at your favourite gym and your smartphone, for example.

This way, you can train using the Tacx Desktop App. This way, regulating resistance and performance data read-out uses your computer instead of your tablet or smartphone. For example, you’ll be able to ride using longer videos with HD or Blu-Ray quality and your resistance will change based on the gradient.

Tacx Desktop App Premium Account

The Tacx Desktop App Premium allows you to enter the world of virtual cycling environments. This makes indoor training more exciting than ever. Cycle famous, staple trails, climbs and other unique routes from all over the world. Race against your friends or other contestants for a spot on the stage, cycle through the most gorgeous courses and receive live performance data (cadence, speed and power). Virtual speed

To allow cyclists with a motor brake and an electro brake to race each other through Multiplayer, Tacx developed virtual speed. This translates energy into speed, which guarantees an honest contest. If this speed deviates from the rear wheel’s speed, the virtual speed will be shown on screen in a red font. Ideal for Zwift contests and training in TrainerRoad or Kinomap.

What devices can I connect to?
The Tacx Turbo Trainers support Bluetooth Smart and ANT+. Through the Bluetooth option you can connect to all modern Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. You can also connect to laptops that support Bluetooth without any problems. Don't have a Bluetooth device available or do you prefer to connect using ANT+? Then you can choose for Tacx ANT+ dongle. You can connect this to computers and laptops via USB-A.

Will my bike with disc brakes fit this Tacx Turbo Trainer?
Yes, disc brakes are no problem. However, it is important that the axle fits correctly. The trainer comes standard with adapters for 142x12mm and 148x12mm thru-axles. These adapters are used in combination with your bike's axle.

What cassette do I need for my trainer?
You will need the same type of cassette as your bike for smooth gear shifting. The only remaining question is whether it will fit your trainer. To determine this, we look at the brand of the cassette and the number of teeth. Does your bike have a Shimano or SRAM cassette? And one with 8 to 11 sprockets? Then your cassette will fit without any additional requirements. Depending on the cassette, you may need to place a number of spacers on the trainer body. Do you have a SRAM 12 speed drivetrain? Then you first need to install this SRAM XD/XD-R body. Do you have a 12 speed Shimano cassette? Then you need to install this Micro-Spline Body first.

Can I use my Campagnolo equipped bike with this trainer?
Yes, you can with 9-12 speed groupsets. However, you will need to replace the default body with this Campagnolo body first.

What tools do I need to install a cassette on my Tacx?
To install your cassette, you will need a chain whip and a cassette remover. These tools can be found here.

Can I use my bike with Campagnolo in combination with this trainer?
Yes, you can with 9-12 speed groups. But you will first need to install this Campagnolo body on your bike trainer.

What wheel sizes are suitable for this trainer?
28- and 29-inch wheel sizes are suitable for this trainer. Do you have a smaller wheel size? Then you will need a front wheel support to use the trainer.
