Re-designed front derailleur
The Rival front derailleur has been completely redesigned to optimise shifting when the difference between the two front sprockets is 13 teeth. The large range of the cassette, combined with the proportions of the front sprockets, give you unprecedented possibilities to choose the right gear. This is partly because the derailleur rotates with the chain to minimise the negative effects of cross-chaining.

Large range
The specifications show that with a Rival AXS groupset you have a much greater range than with current 11-speed groupsets. No need to change cassettes when you're riding in the mountains!

Fully adjustable
The SRAM Rival AXS 12-speed groupset is fully customisable with the SRAM AXS app. For example, you can choose synchronised or traditional shifting. You can also choose the functions of the buttons and connect additional devices to the system, such as a dropper post or a navigation system.

Future-proof shifting thanks to eTap wireless technology
SRAM's eTap technology means the end of shifting cables to your derailleur. The wireless shifters make your bike more aerodynamic and, like mentioned above, you can get rid of these bulky cables. One advantage of the Rival eTap AXS is that it is 12-speed compatible, giving you a wider range and the possibility to install a 12-speed cassette. No more need to change your cassette when you go to the mountains!

Reach and contact point adjustment technology
SRAM's Contact Point Adjustment lets you adjust how close the brake pads are to the disc brake, so you can control how quickly the brake engages. SRAM's Reach Adjust technology also allows you to adjust the shifters to your ideal riding position. This allows you to adjust how far the brake and shifting levers are from your handlebars!

X-Range technology
X-Range allows you to get a more efficient drivetrain by moving your shifting range from your crank to your cassette. SRAM has designed the Rival cassettes so that you have smaller but more consistent intervals between gears, which also makes it possible to get a larger range. All in all, this ensures that you can stay on the same chainring for longer on this SRAM Rival crank, allowing you to shift up or down more smoothly.

DUB bottom bracket
The DUB technology ensures that the bottom bracket and crank arm are not only rigid and transmit power instantly, but also that the crank lasts a long time. By simply integrating the crank, bottom bracket and sprockets you can expect better power transfer and less maintenance in return. The mounting is also very easy!

Flattop technology
Thanks to Flattop™ technology, SRAM has developed a chain that is lighter, quieter and more durable than previous chains. SRAM has developed all of this despite the fact that the chain needs to be thinner to work on 12-speed cassettes.

X-Sync Pulleys
SRAM X-Sync Pulleys deliver the highest performance and ensure durability. SRAM X-SYNC™ long square teeth pick up the chain sooner than traditional triangle teeth. The X-SYNC™ pulleys and derailleur wheels are an integral part of the SRAM™ drivetrain. Designed in Germany.

Full-pin technology
SRAM Rival cassettes are very lightweight and very strong. This is because the cassette is held together by pins. This FULL PIN™ technology also makes the cassette very durable, because sand and dirt will not get stuck in the cassette!

SRAM Yaw™ trimless cage technology
The Yaw™ rotating front derailleur cage is an innovative solution to avoid having to make small adjustments to the shifters when the chain is at an angle. The SRAM Rival eRap AXS front derailleur rotates slightly to maintain an even angle with the chain. As a result, SRAM Rival eRap AXS delivers direct and precise shifting!

Assembly

Note:
This groupset will be delivered without bottom bracket. For mounting the SRAM Rival AXS crank you need a SRAM Dub bottom bracket.

To fit a SRAM Rival AXS 12-speed cassette you will need an XDR driver body.
