Speedplay Zero Aero Stainless Pedals

The most aerodynamic pedal system on the market. The Speedplay Zero Aero pedals were Bradley Wiggins’ choice when he set his world endurance record. The bottom of the pedal has an aerodynamic shape and is provided with aerodynamic holes, comparable to those on a golf ball. This way the Speedplay Zero Aero pedal forms one aerodynamic whole with teh Speedplay Walkable Cleats. The biggest difference compared to normal Speedplay Zero pedals is in the aerodynamic bottom which makes clicking in on both sides impossible.

For the riders that set high standards for their material, the Speedplay pedals are a must. The Zero pedals make it possible to adjust the freedom of movement of your feet to up to 15 degrees of play. This way you can adjust the pedals to your wishes. The Speedplay pedals are thinner so the distance between the ground and your feet is larger, which means that you can keep pedaling, without the pedal touching the ground. Speedplay uses a four-point attachment. Every set comes with adapters so the cleats could also fit shoes with a standard three-point attachment.

Technology

The included Speedplay Zero Aero Walkable are cleats that have an integrated rubber cover. This cover makes sure the click system under the shoes are protected during walking. It also offers extra grip during walking.

The rubber covers around the cleats are increased so the cleats don't touch the ground. The shape and the golf balll motif offer extra aerodynamics. Speedplay includes the "Cleat Buddies". These caps can be screwed where you would normally click the pedal. Nice for walking in bad conditions, because this way dirt can come into the system.
